Ms Cynthia Mbili

• Cynthia Mbili is a CA(SA) and RA and holds a Masters in International Accounting (UJ). She is an IFRS adviser on various listed clients locally and outside south Africa.
• Cynthia joined EY Johannesburg offices in 2021 and is currently serving as Technical Partner in Financial Reporting Group (FRG).  Currently providing Technical Advisory on: various audit of clients across Africa. IFRS 17 Insurance Contract implementation and a member of the EY IFRS17 Insurance Technical Panel.
• Prior to joining EY: Was a Technical Director – Head of technical services for the past 9 years at another large Audit firm and held several positions in the private and public sector, including serving om Board and audit and risk committees.
