Madelie is responsible for IFRS advisory on all listed entities and have more than 10 years’ experience in providing technical IFRS advise. Madelie is a JSE accredited IFRS advisor and have extensive experience in reviewing financial statements and consulting on transactions in the listed environment. She is also a member of the APC.

Madelie holds a master’s degree in International Accounting from the University of Johannesburg and is currently enrolled as a PhD candidate at the University of Johannesburg. Her thesis focuses on the concept of equity and intends to understand why certain complex financial instruments create exceptions to the equity rule.
