The most recent prioritisation exercise of the UK’s International COVID19 response
has allocated up to £2.15m UK Pounds (ca. R50m) to support South Africa’s efforts
via the Solidarity Fund
The British High Commission to SA has noted that they would be interested in these
funds being deployed to support the Fund’s efforts in responding to GBV but also
supporting women’s economic empowerment and SMEs.
