The Department of Trade Industry and Competition successfully hosted the 3rd G20 Trade and Investment Working Group (TIWG) Meeting from 29–31 July in Johannesburg. Over 150 delegates from G20 countries and invited countries, regional economic communities and international organisations and knowledge partners gathered for three days of constructive discussions on key global trade and investment priorities — including green industrialisation, inclusive growth, WTO reform, and sustainable development. The meeting laid critical groundwork ahead of the 4th TIWG and the G20 Trade and Industry Ministers Meeting scheduled for October.”
