| A Limpopo-based bottled quail eggs producers, Tweeter Quail company is on a mission to attract partners and investors during the forthcoming Africa Big 7. The Africa Big 7 is an internationally-renowned food and beverage trade show that is scheduled to take place at the Gallagher Convention Centre, in Midrand on 23 – 25 June 2019.
Tweeter Quail is one of the 23 South African companies funded by the Department of Trade and Industry (the dti) through its Export Marketing and Investment Assistance (EMIA) Scheme, to showcase their proudly South African-made products in the SA national pavilion during the three-day Africa Big 7 show. According to the Director of Tweeter Quail, Ms Linda Cronje, the show presents an opportunity to showcase her bottled quail eggs and quail meat and expand her market. Importantly, Cronje says she hopes to attract partners or investors to help them grow and be able to supply the international export market. “We are looking forward to the Africa Big 7 show as it has an excellent reputation for matchmaking opportunities with importers, business persons and investors. This is a huge opportunity to us,” says Cronje. She expressed appreciation of the opportunities given to participate on the international markets and to experience the huge market available to them. She adds that she has already participated in an expo in Cairo, Egypt, were her quail meat received interest and is confident the show will yield positive results. Africa Big 7 is the annual meeting place for food and beverage professionals across the continent who visit to source, meet and gain insight into the latest developments in the industry. The trade show is the only food and beverage show in Africa and brings together hundreds of global buyers from significant segments of the agro-processing industry’s value chain. Enquiries: |
