South Africa companies participating at the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF) taking place in Algiers, Algeria from today, 4-10 September 2025, have expressed their excitement at the prospects of successfully showcasing their products at the week-long fair.

Speaking prior to the opening ceremony today, the Sales Director of Cubicle Solutions which is based in Pietermaritzburg, Ms Zinhle Zibula, says as they continue to grow in the construction and manufacturing sector, they are excited about showcasing their products to diverse markets, and creating opportunities to expand their footprint throughout the African continent.

“Our primary objective for IATF 2025 is to expand our exporting business by supplying high-quality toilet and shower cubicles, lockers, and benches to global markets. Through this platform, we aim to showcase our innovative and durable products to international stakeholders, and we also want to establish strategic partnerships with distributors, architects, and contractors across Africa and beyond,” says Zibula, whose company employs 73 people, and has branches in Johannesburg and Cape Town

She expresses their aim to position the company as a trusted African manufacturer in the global commercial building industry, and grow their export footprint by tapping into new markets and building long-term client relationships.

The Managing Director of SBDN, Mr Oyama Sidlabane, says his construction and engineering services company, which is based in Gqeberha, is looking forward to expanding the business into the rest of Africa.

“We are participating at the IATF to get more leads for our business and other services either in the private sector or government. We will be marketing our services in sand blasting, scaffolding, fabrication and engineering services. If there will be opportunities for investment or partnership we will grab them with both hands,” says Sidlabane.
