The Gulfood is the leading food and beverage exhibition and attracts a large number of participants from the Middle East and the world at large. The Food Safety Manager of Good Hope Meats, Mr Gregory Aubert says Gulfood will provide them with an opportunity to showcase their range of meats to the world. “We are a proudly South African company. We buy local and support local industries. We are hoping to expand our footprint and sell to companies in Africa, Middle East and Asia. We have world-class products made right here in Cape Town, that we are ready to let the world enjoy. We are hoping to link up with partners from these regions and hopefully get new customers,” says Aubert. The family-owned business, which employs 110 permanent staff members, offers a comprehensive range of fresh halaal lamb, beef, chicken, as well as meat products such as sausages, burger patties and processed meats. Aubert adds that Good Hope currently supplies all the major retail chain stores in South Africa, as well as restaurants, hotels, large catering companies, independent retail stores, and we even have an online store. The company’s Trading Manager, Mr Wayne Petzer says Gulfood always presents the company with the potential to grow and create more job opportunities in South Africa. “Our participation in the Gulfood will give us another opportunity to meet with new clients and agents that will take our company to new heights. We are not only looking to export to the UAE but the whole region. Our vision has always been to look beyond our borders and push our range in international markets,” says Petzer. Enquiries: |
