2nd SA Conference on Essential and Vegetable Oils
The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) partnered with United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the South African Essential Oils Producers Association (SAEOPA), and successfully hosted a two-day conference in Pretoria from 21-22 July 2022. The theme of the conference was ‘New Horizons and Innovations for the Essential and Vegetable Seed Oil Industry’. The conference looked at ways to increase the uptake of South African-produced essential and vegetable oils and to enhance their capacity to compete effectively internationally.
